Tomioka Hachimangu shrine
Had been to the Shinto shrine "Tomioka Hachimangu" on New Year. Visiting a shrine on a New Year day is called "Hatsumodea" in Japanese. This shrine was not much crowded unlike Sensoji in Asakusa and Meiji Jingu in Harajuku , the two most famous shrines in Tokyo.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! All the best for 2006 in Japan.Did you go to the shrine at dawn?! Looks lovely.
